We visited Dayspring Native American United Methodist Church in East Peoria, Illinois on Sunday, March 2. We were told about this church from a friend that we met at a Baha'i celebration. He had just visited and thought we'd find it interesting as well!
Highlights of our visit to Dayspring Native American United Methodist Church
1. The drums and chanting were unique and beautiful.
2. Receiving and participating in the Water Blessing. 3. The 43 acre property with massive old trees was peaceful and a perfect setting. 4. Learning about it's connection to another church we visited: First United Methodist Church of Peoria

Couple of clarifications: The First Nations Version is an indigenous translation of the Bible. So far, only the New Testament has been translated, but the Old Testament is in process. Seven Circles is located near Edwards, Il, west of Peoria. Thanks for visiting with us! And thanks you for featuring Dayspring on your podcast!
