We visited Dayspring Native American United Methodist Church in East Peoria, Illinois on Sunday, March 2. We were told about this church from a friend that we met at a Baha'i celebration. He had just visited and thought we'd find it interesting as well!
Highlights of our visit to Dayspring Native American United Methodist Church
1. The drums and chanting were unique and beautiful.
2. Receiving and participating in the Water Blessing. 3. The 43 acre property with massive old trees was peaceful and a perfect setting. 4. Learning about it's connection to another church we visited: First United Methodist Church of Peoria

On Sunday, January 5, 2025 we visited Renewed Life Community Church. We picked this church because the Pastor, Quinton Johnson, also works at our kids' school in Morton. We love visiting these smaller neighborhood churches!

United Fellowship Ministries was a life changing church to visit! We found out about it because one of the residents of a rental we have goes there and loves it. And we love her! She had often talked about her church and what a special place it was and I had heard about her Pastor, Greg Washington, many times from her.
